warrior's path practice

Wednesdays 7:00p-8:30p
through May 29

Warrior’s Path classes are practices on the mat that enable us to live into our full potential off the mat. Kara weaves asana, pranayama, mantras, bandha, and meditation into powerful and subtle sequencing designed bring the body back to balance, steady the mind, and remind you of your essential nature. Inspired by the practices of ParaYoga tantric hatha vinyasa and Ayurveda, this class is for students with some yoga experience and is an appropriate preparation for Sva Sadhana, Kara’s 9-month Yoga & Ayurveda training program.

Ayurveda is a science of balance. One of the primary places we seek balance is between our internal environment and the external environment. This relationship of microcosm and macrocosm means that our self-care, daily routines, diet, and lifestyle should be dynamic and fluid as we orient to the wisdom of the natural world. We’ll explore what elements and qualities are in excess this season and what we can do on the mat and off to create the ideal balance for your constitution. Radical wellness starts here! Improve your digestion, elimination, sleep, energy, and mood with this science of self-healing.
