This Warrior's Path series explores the timeless wisdom of one of the great texts of the yoga tradition, the Bhagavad Gita. The epic battle depicted in the Gita, is a battle that occurs within each of us. The teachings of the Gita are the teachings of the warrior’s path. Each week we'll explore a passage from the text via the methodologies of asana, pranayama, and meditation.

Yoga & Ayurveda are often described as sister sciences. When practiced together, these two symbiotic modalities bring physical, energetic, and mental balance to your daily life and help you feel better! This session introduces the practice of Yoga asana through the lens of Ayurveda. You'll build strength and flexibility, learn safe alignment and different categories of yoga postures, and beginning to experience the stress-reducing and mind-quieting contemplative practices of yoga and meditation.

When practiced together, these two symbiotic modalities bring physical, energetic, and mental balance to your daily life and help you feel better! This session introduces the practices of Ayurveda that create daily wellness; cultivate more physical, energetic, and mental resiliency; and support your yoga practice. You'll be introduced to the 5 Element System of Ayurveda, learn how your birth constitution informs your health, and utilize yoga to have more energy, stay healthier, and feel more yourself!

Spring Cleaning. We all recognize that there’s something about the natural energy of spring that supports our desire to clean up and clear out. We desire to lighten the accumulation of winter, and spring is a time of increased energy to do just that.

Ayurveda views seasonal transitions to be important opportunities for cleansing and rejuvenation. The transition from winter to spring is a time to clear the excess heavy and cold qualities and weight that have accumulated throughout the winter and spring, and which unchecked lead to seasonal colds, allergies, and excess weight. During this weekend workshop we’ll take an Ayurvedic, food-based approach to cleansing and rejuvenation, a gentle effective approach will leave you feeling clearer, cleaner, and renewed.

The Ayurvedic Spring Cleanse includes:

- 4 weekly Cleanse Prep classes include Ayurvedic teachings and yoga practices geared to make your cleanse process easier and more effective.

- Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle teachings, Ayurvedic cooking class, asana practice, pre and post-cleanse suggested practices, recipes, and shopping list.

- A group experience to offer support and camaraderie during the cleansing process.

- Ayurvedic meals to support rejuvenation will be provided during the weekend workshop.
