A N N A P U R N A. She who nourishes. The consort of Shiva that taught him that the world can’t survive on meditation alone, that it is also a sacred practice to provide food. Annapurna is a lovely addition to your kitchen altar, or can accompany you anywhere that you want to remember your relationship to nourishment.

G A N E S H. The aspect of divine consciousness that strategically places and removes obstacles. A patron of learning. Ganesh, the elephant-headed deity is invoked at the beginning of any intentional endeavor, so that we may proceed with obstacles on our path minimized, and lessons quickly gained from the obstacles we encounter.

L A K S H M I. She who brings abundance and boons. Her name means good fortune (and is pronounced ‘Luck-shmi’). Her lower hand is extended in a gesture of giving of gifts, material and spiritual.
