Neem is a bitter medicine indeed, which makes it a beautiful match for inflammations of the skin. It works with skin conditions due to aggravation of blood and/or Pitta. If there’s itching, oozing, or burning, this neem seed oil is a likely ally. Neem is antibacterial, anti fungal, and antiseptic.

Not all Neem oil is made equally. Neem Seed oil (versus leaf) is most potent for topical use. It does have an earthy, pungent smell, and we often use this potent oil at night if the smell is bothersome.
